About the Role:ComForCare Home Care - Contra Costa West is hiring immediately for urgent 12-hour shift coverage in Orinda, CA! This is a fantastic opportunity to make a meaningful difference in a client's life while joining a compassionate and supportive home care team. Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct in-home care and assistance to clients during 12-hour shifts
  • Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, grooming, and dressing
  • Support clients with mobility, transfers, and fall prevention
  • Prepare meals and assist with feeding as needed
  • Offer companionship and emotional support to promote client well-being
  • Monitor and report changes in client condition to supervisors
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable home environment for the client
Requirements:
  • Prior experience as a caregiver, HHA, CNA, or personal care aide preferred
  • Ability to work a 12-hour shift with immediate availability
  • Compassionate, reliable, and patient demeanor
  • Valid ID and ability to pass a background check
  • Strong communication skills and ability to follow care plans
  • CPR/First Aid certification a plus
