Job Summary

We are seeking a skilledMachineMaintenance Technician II to support manufacturing operations through advanced equipment maintenance and troubleshooting. This role is responsible for ensuring the reliability, performance, and up time of automated production equipment across multiple functional areas.

The ideal candidate brings strong hands-on experience inelectromechanical systems, automation, and troubleshooting, and is capable of working independently to diagnose and resolve issues. This technician will also play a key role inpreventive maintenance programs, process improvements, and cross-functional collaboration with engineering and production teams.

Duties and Responsibilities

Performintermediate-level troubleshooting of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and control system failures, using systematic diagnostic techniques to identify root causes.

Executepreventive and corrective maintenance activities, ensuring equipment operates within manufacturer specifications and company standards.

Conductprecision mechanical alignments and adjustments, including conveyors, pick-and-place systems, robotics, and other automated equipment.

Support and performequipment calibrations, ensuring accuracy, repeatability, and compliance with quality requirements.

Collaborate with Manufacturing and Process Engineers toimplement process improvements, equipment upgrades, and efficiency initiatives.

Maintain accuratemaintenance records and documentation, including work orders, parts usage, and equipment history.

Supportproduction uptime and yield goals, responding quickly to equipment downtime and minimizing impact to operations.

Participate incontinuous improvement initiatives, identifying trends in failures and recommending proactive maintenance strategies.

Ensure all work is performed in compliance withsafety standards, ESD requirements, and company policies.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications

5–10 years of experience in industrial maintenance, manufacturing, or related technical field.

Strong knowledge of:

  • Electrical systems (motors, sensors, PLC basics)
  • Mechanical systems (bearings, belts, gearboxes)
  • Pneumatics and basic hydraulics
  • Automated production equipment

Proven ability to performindependent troubleshooting and repairs on complex equipment.

Experience executingpreventive maintenance programs and interpreting maintenance schedules.

Ability to read and interpret:

  • Electrical schematics
  • Mechanical drawings
  • Equipment manuals and technical documentation

Experience working in aproduction environment, supporting up time and responding to equipment issues in real time.

Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to performroot cause analysis.

Basic computer skills, including maintenance tracking systems (CMMS), Microsoft Office, and digital documentation tools.

Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate across maintenance, engineering, and production teams.

High school diploma or GED required; technical certification preferred.

Preferred Qualifications (Optional)

Experience withPLC troubleshooting (Allen-Bradley, Siemens, etc.).

Familiarity withSMT, robotics, or automated assembly equipment.

Experience supportingcontinuous improvement or lean manufacturing initiatives.

Physical Work Environment

Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift for extended periods during a shift.  Ability to lift up to50 lbs and perform physical maintenance tasks as required.  Work performed in amanufacturing environment with moving equipment, noise, and varying temperatures.  Use of appropriatepersonal protective equipment (PPE) and adherence to safety protocols is required.  May require work duringoff-shifts and weekends.
