Job Summary

We are looking for a skilledUnix/Perl Developer with strong expertise inShell Scripting, Perl Development, and Unix/Linux environments. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience inautomation, scripting, troubleshooting production issues, log analysis, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth application operations and deployments.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, maintain, and enhancePerl andShell scripts for application processing and automation.
• Develop automation solutions to reduce manual operational activities.
• Create and maintainbatch scheduling andmonitoring scripts.
• Performroot cause analysis (RCA) and resolve production incidents.
• Monitor application logs, system performance, and batch executions in Unix environments.
• Manage process scheduling usingAutoSys andCron.
• Support application deployments and release activities.
• Troubleshootfile transfer,database connectivity, andapplication integration issues.
• Develop reusable automation tools and utilities.
• Prepare technical documentation, operational runbooks, and support guides.
• Collaborate with developers, business analysts, infrastructure teams, and project stakeholders.
• Work onPayment Processing Platforms,Cash Management, andTreasury Applications.

Required Skills

• 6–8 years of experience in Unix/Linux application support and development.
• Strong expertise inPerl Programming.
• StrongShell Scripting (Bash/Korn Shell).
• Hands-on experience withUnix/Linux operating systems.
• Experience withAutoSys andCron job scheduling.
• Production support and incident management.
• Log analysis and troubleshooting.
• Automation and scripting expertise.
• Knowledge of database connectivity and SQL.
• Experience with application deployment and release management.
• Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
• Knowledge of version control tools such asGit.
• Familiarity with payment processing, treasury, or banking applications.
• Exposure to monitoring tools and infrastructure support.
