Unity Developer â€" Job Description
Charter is looking for a skilled Unity Developer with strong programming fundamentals and problem-solving abilities. The ideal candidate should be comfortable working on large-scale codebases, debugging complex issues, and contributing to well-structured and maintainable software architecture.
Key Responsibilities
· Develop, maintain, refactor, and optimize existing applications using Unity and C#
· Understand and work within large existing codebases
· Debug and resolve complex technical issues efficiently
· Write clean, scalable, and maintainable code following OOP principles
· Collaborate with cross-functional teams including designers, and developers
· Contribute to software architecture and technical design discussions
· Improve application performance and stability
· Follow best practices for coding standards and version control
Required Skills
· Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts
· Excellent debugging and problem-solving skills
· Ability to understand and navigate large codebases
· Good understanding of software architecture and design principles
· Strong proficiency in Unity and C#
· Experience with code optimization and performance tuning
· Familiarity with Git or other version control systems
Preferred Qualifications
· Experience working on scalable Unity applications or games
· Understanding of design patterns and modular architecture
· Experience collaborating in Agile development environments
· Ability to write reusable and maintainable systems
