Senior Cost Control

We are seeking a detail-orientedSeniorCost Controller to join our Commercial team for upcoming construction projects in Dubai. The role focuses onmonitoring, analyzing, and controlling project costs to ensure financial efficiency and budget compliance. You will collaborate withProject Managers, Procurement, Finance, andSite Teams to provide accurate financial oversight and reporting.

Location: Dubai

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in preparingproject budgets and cost plans based on design, scope, and BOQ.

• Track and controlproject expenditures, ensuring alignment with approved budgets.

• Identifycost variances and propose corrective actions.

• Preparemonthly cost reports, dashboards, and financial forecasts.

• Review and evaluatevariations, change orders, and claims.

• Collaborate with teams tovalidate cost data and maintain documentation.

• Ensurefinancial compliance and support project audit and reconciliation activities.

Requirements

• High School orDiploma inCivil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Accounting, or related field.

• Minimum5 years of experience incost control within theconstruction industry.

• Proven background inbudgeting, forecasting, and project cost management.

Technical Skills

• Strong proficiency inMS Excel,ERP systems, andcost management tools (e.g.,Primavera).

• Excellent knowledge ofproject cost monitoring,variance analysis,cash flow management, andfinancial reporting.

• Understanding ofchange/variation management andcost reconciliation processes.

Soft Skills

• Stronganalytical andnumerical aptitude.
