General Summary
The Buyer/Analyst provides operational and transactional sourcing support for low-dollar, low-complexity third-party purchasing in Mexico and assigned markets. Operating within established sourcing policies, category strategies, and approval thresholds, the role supports Purchase Requisition reviews, commercial validation, supplier engagement, competitive sourcing, renewals, and purchasing compliance. Higher-value, higher-risk, or complex requirements are escalated to the Sourcing Lead or Category Manager.

Key Responsibilities

- Requisition & Compliance: Review Purchase Requisitions for completeness, consistency, and compliance.
- Sourcing Execution: Manage low-dollar sourcing transactions and competitive RFx activities using standard processes and templates.
- Supplier & Stakeholder Engagement: Engage internal stakeholders, manage renewals, identify suppliers, and resolve routine purchasing issues.
- PO Management: Support Purchase Order creation and processing while maintaining system tracking and accurate documentation.
- Analysis & Reporting: Perform basic spend, pricing, supplier, and market analyses to identify cost-improvement opportunities.
- Escalation: Align with regional strategies and escalate matters involving material risk or strategic complexity.

Requirements & Experience

- ~6 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, P2P, or sourcing operations (specifically in Services categories).
- Familiarity with enterprise procurement systems and standard processes (PRs, POs, supplier quotes, RFx, commercial comparisons).
- Experience engaging corporate or multinational stakeholders and suppliers.
- Fluency in Spanish and English required; Portuguese preferred.
- Strong organizational, data analysis, and multitasking skills with the ability to work independently.
