PURPOSE OF THE JOB
The Undergraduate Representative serves as the primary recruiting representative for Judson College. This position develops relationships with prospective undergraduate students, churches, schools, youth ministries, and other strategic partners while generating undergraduate inquiries and promoting Judson College to prospective students.
The Undergraduate Representative works closely with the Undergraduate Admissions Counselor to provide consistent support from initial inquiry through application, admission, and enrollment. While the primary emphasis is recruitment, the position is cross-trained in admissions counseling and shares responsibility for helping students progress through the admissions process.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Undergraduate Recruiting
- Assist the Director and Associate Director in developing and implementing the annual undergraduate recruiting plan.
- Develop strategies for generating undergraduate inquiries and prospective student engagement.
- Represent Judson College at recruiting events, college fairs, church events, school visits, and other recruitment opportunities.
- Develop and maintain relationships with churches, youth pastors, schools, ministry leaders, and other strategic partners.
- Communicate regularly with prospective undergraduate students and families.
- Follow up with undergraduate inquiries and encourage prospective students to take the next step toward application.
- Assist with recruiting communications and marketing efforts.
- Work collaboratively with the Logistics Coordinator and Campus Host to support recruiting activities and prospective-student experiences.
Prospective Student Engagement
- Provide prospective students and families with accurate information concerning Judson College, its programs, student life, admissions, and enrollment.
- Communicate with prospective students through phone, email, campus visits, and other appropriate methods.
- Participate in campus visits, preview events, and other Admissions activities.
- Assist with campus tours and prospective-student experiences as needed.
- Connect prospective students with the appropriate Admissions Counselor when additional application or admissions assistance is needed.
Admissions & Enrollment Support
- Work closely with the Undergraduate Admissions Counselor to ensure appropriate follow-up with prospective students.
- Assist prospective students with basic questions concerning the admissions process.
- Participate in follow-up efforts with prospective students, applicants, and admitted students as needed.
- Participate in regular Admissions and recruiting meetings.
- Maintain accurate records in appropriate admissions and student information systems such as SLATE.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Associate Director or Director of Admissions.

The Undergraduate Representative interacts regularly with prospective students and families, churches, youth pastors, schools, ministry leaders, Admissions staff, faculty, staff, and other recruiting partners.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
- Frequent walking and standing during recruiting events and campus visits.
- Occasional lifting and moving of recruiting materials and event supplies.
- Ability to travel for recruiting activities.
- Physical demands associated with event setup and breakdown as needed.

WORKING CONDITIONS AND ENVIRONMENT
- Normal office hours are generally 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m., Monday–Thursday and 8:00am-4:00pm on Friday, with flexibility based on recruiting activities and events.
- Occasional evening and weekend responsibilities for recruiting events, preview days, church events, and other Admissions activities.
- Regular travel for recruiting trips and other strategic recruiting opportunities.
- Work will take place in both office and event environments.
