We are currently seeking an experiencedConstruction Manager to support our operations in theGreater Pittsburgh area. This role is responsible for leading both field execution and project management efforts across complex repair and restoration projects.
As a Construction Manager, you will play a key role in delivering projects that make our nation’s structures stronger and last longer—leading teams in the field while maintaining full ownership of project performance.
Key Responsibilities
Field Leadership & Execution
- Lead and overseefield teams, including Foremen and union craft workers
- Manage daily field operations to ensure work is completedsafely, efficiently, and with high quality
- Conductpre-project and pre-task planning, ensuring alignment across all teams
- Promote and uphold PULLMAN’sSafety 24/7 culture
- Train, mentor, and support the development of field personnel
Project Management & Operations
- Manageself-performed concrete repair and restoration projects from start to finish
- Maintainprofit and loss responsibility, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control
- Develop and manageproject schedules in collaboration with field leadership
- Prepare contracts and supportnegotiations and revisions as needed
- Coordinate withEstimating and Business Development teams to support bid reviews and proposal development
- Build and maintainstrong client relationships throughout the project lifecycle
Coordination & Oversight
- Oversee multiple projects and ensure alignment betweenfield execution and financial performance
- Monitor production, track progress, and identify opportunities for improvement
- Ensure all project documentation and reporting isaccurate and timely
Qualifications
- 7–12+ years of construction leadership experience, including both field leadership and project management
- Proven experience managing projects in the$1M–$5M+ range
- Experience withconcrete repair, structural strengthening, waterproofing, façade restoration, or similar scopes
- Experience working with and leadingunion labor crews
- Strong understanding of construction drawings, specifications, and project execution
- Proficiency withMicrosoft Office and project management/forecasting tools
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- Willingness to travel20–30% as needed
