About The Job:
- We are seeking a Software Engineer with strong UI/UX expertise and hands-on experience in Python and Flask.
- The ideal candidate will design and develop scalable web applications, ensuring seamless integration with backend services and delivering Clientive user interfaces.
User Story Execution
- Understand assigned user stories and acceptance criteria.
- Review, clarify, and confirm story requirements before development.
- Ensure alignment with PI (Program Increment) objectives.
- Design and develop features using Python (Flask) and Angular following coding standards.
- Apply UI/UX best practices for responsive, user-friendly interfaces.
- Perform unit and integration testing for developed features.
- Validate all functionality against acceptance criteria.
Ownership & Accountability
- Take full ownership of tasks from design to deployment.
- Provide regular progress updates during daily stand-ups.
- Maintain and update work items accurately in Azure DevOps (ADO).
- Identify risks or blockers early and propose mitigation strategies.
Delivery Commitments
- Complete all assigned work within sprint timelines.
- Ensure all deliverables meet the Definition of Done (DoD):
- Code is reviewed and merged.
- All tests pass successfully.
- Documentation is updated wherever required.
 Collaboration & Alignment
- Collaborate closely with the team to maintain alignment with PI objectives.
- Actively participate in sprint ceremonies: planning, review, retrospective, and refinement.
- Support integration activities with other components or teams.
- Resolve cross-team dependencies promptly.
Quality & Compliance
- Follow secure coding standards and enterprise guidelines.
- Ensure compatibility with Azure cloud environments.
- Adhere to containerization best practices for scalable deployment.
- Develop and maintain web applications using Python (Flask) and Angular.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design UI/UX components.
- Implement responsive designs using HTML, CSS/SCSS, and JavaScript.
- Work with SQL and Azure SQL Server for data storage and retrieval.
- Ensure application security, performance, and scalability.
- Participate in code reviews and maintain coding standards.
- Deploy and manage applications in Azure environments.
