Job Description
We are seeking a talented UI/UX Designer with a passion for creating intuitive and engaging user experiences. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of user interface principles, web design, and e-commerce platforms. This role is based in the beautiful city of Hilton Head Island, SC, and offers the opportunity to work on a variety of projects with a focus on delivering high-quality web solutions.
Responsibilities
Design and improve user interfaces for web and mobile applications.
Create user-centered designs by understanding business requirements, and user feedback.
Translate requirements into style guides, design systems, design patterns, and attractive user interfaces.
Design UI elements such as input controls, navigational components, and informational components.
Create original graphic designs (e.g., images, sketches, and tables).
Identify and troubleshoot UX problems (e.g., responsiveness).
Collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders.
Conduct layout adjustments based on user feedback.
Adhere to style standards on fonts, colors, and images.
Requirements
1-4 years of experience in UI/UX design.
Proficiency in user experience, user interface, web design, and web development.
Experience with e-commerce and website creation.
Knowledge of back-end development, hosting, e-commerce, and security aspects.
Ability to work with clients to understand detailed requirements and design complete user experiences that meet client needs and vision.
Extensive experience in using UX design best practices to design solutions, and a deep understanding of mobile-first and responsive design.
A solid grasp of user-centered design and testing methodologies, subsystems, and usability and accessibility concerns.
Ability to iterate designs and solutions efficiently and intelligently.
A clear understanding of the importance of user-centered design and design thinking.
Ability to work effectively in a team setting including synthesizing abstract ideas into concrete design implications.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in relevant field or equivalent experience.
Proficiency in design software (e.g., UXPin, Balsamiq).
Good understanding of front-end languages (e.g., HTML, JavaScript, CSS).
Excellent problem-solving skills.
Strong communication skills to collaborate with various stakeholders.
Good time-management skills.
