Job Description:
Key Responsibilities-
• User research: Plan and conduct user research — interviews, surveys, and contextual enquiry — to understand user goals, behaviours, and pain points, and turn insights into design decisions.
• Information architecture & flows: Define user journeys, task flows, and information architecture that make products easy to navigate and understand.
• Wireframing & prototyping: Produce wireframes, interactive prototypes, and clickable mock-ups to explore and validate concepts before build.
• Visual design: Craft clean, consistent, and visually compelling interfaces aligned to brand and design-system standards.
• Design systems: Contribute to and maintain reusable components, patterns, and style guides to ensure consistency and scale across products.
• Usability testing: Plan and run usability testing, synthesise findings, and iterate designs based on evidence.
• Accessibility: Design to accessibility standards (e.g. WCAG) so experiences are inclusive and usable by everyone.
• Responsive design: Deliver experiences that work seamlessly across desktop, tablet, and mobile.
• Collaboration & handoff: Work closely with product, business, and engineering teams; provide clear specs, assets, and design handoff, and support implementation through to release.
Skills & Experience
• Proven hands-on experience across user research, wireframing, prototyping, visual design, and usability testing.
• Proficient with design tools such as Figma (and equivalents like Sketch or Adobe XD).
• Solid understanding of design systems, component libraries, and maintaining consistency at scale.
• Strong grasp of accessibility standards (e.g. WCAG) and inclusive design principles.
• Experience applying responsive design principles across devices and breakpoints.
• Working understanding of front-end constraints (HTML/CSS awareness) to design implementable solutions and collaborate effectively with engineers.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills; able to translate user needs into impactful digital solutions.
