About The Job:
- The Frontend Engineer will design and implement Clientive, performant, and Scalable user interfaces across Moder’s ecosystem of applications.
- This role focuses on React-based frontends integrated with AI-driven backends, ensuring seamless, data-rich user experiences.
- The developer will collaborate closely with product, UX, and backend engineering teams to deliver polished, modern interfaces that elevate user engagement and workflow deficiency.
- Develop responsive, high-quality web interfaces using React, TypeScript, and modern front-end libraries.
- Translate Miro or UX mockups into functional and reusable UI components.
- Integrate RESTful APIs into the frontend while maintaining performance and scalability.
- Collaborate with UX and backend engineers to define and refine data flows and component interactions.
- Implement state management using Redux Toolkit, Zustand, Context API, or similar.
- Write clean, testable, and maintainable code aligned with Moder's engineering standards.
- Utilize Generative AI tools to accelerate development and optimize component creation.
- Contribute to code reviews, technical documentation, and UI performance improvements.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies, providing input on story estimation, refinement, and sprint planning.
- Stay current with emerging front-end technologies and propose improvements to the tech stack.
- 3–5 years of professional experience developing modern front-end applications.
- Strong proficiency in React, JavaScript (ES6+), and TypeScript.
- Hands-on experience with CSS-in-JS frameworks (e.g., Styled Components, Emotion) or Tailwind CSS.
- Familiarity with modern build tools such as Vite, Webpack, or Next.js.
- Good understanding of responsive design principles and accessibility standards (WCAG).
- Experience integrating front-end applications with REST or GraphQL APIs, following best practices.
- Proficient in using GitHub for version control, branching, and pull requests.
- Familiarity with Jira and Agile development workflows.
Skills & Competencies
- Strong UI/UX sensibility with attention to pixel-perfect implementation.
- Ability to collaborate effectively across product, design, and engineering teams in a fast-paced environment.
- Solid debugging, profiling, and performance optimization skills.
- Comfortable using Generative AI tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Cursor) for rapid prototyping and documentation.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate technical details for non-technical audiences.
- Self-starter with strong curiosity for emerging front-end technologies and best practices.
