Cybersecurity Architect, Cryptography Projects
Location: Tubize #ON-SITE
The Cybersecurity Engineer for Cryptography Projects needs to be a technical passionate. Based on their existing background in IT, telecommunication systems and/or cybersecurity, they will be eager to discover new technologies to continuously expand and reinforce their expertise in these fields. They will put their expertise at the service of both the security-centric projects of the Security discipline and the secure-by-design aspects of the projects lead by the other disciplines.
Your Mission:
Designcustomer-centric cryptographic architectures by analyzing security needs, defining optimal solutions, and serving as theprimary technical interface for stakeholders.
Leadsystem specification, design, and Make/Team/Buy decisions, collaborating withhardware, software, security, and QA teams to delivercompliant, high-assurance cryptographic solutions.
Act as thetechnical authority on cryptography, drivinginnovation, risk assessments, and best practices to counterevolving threats (e.g., post-quantum algorithms) and meetregulatory standards (e.g., FIPS, Common Criteria).
Owntechnical documentation (HLD/LLD, test plans, user manuals) withend-to-end traceability—fromrequirements to implementation, validation, and deployment—ensuring audit readiness.
Supportsales/marketing teams intechnical pre-sales activities (RFIs/RFPs, demos, PoCs) by translating complex cryptographic concepts intocustomer-facing solutions.
Guidedevelopment and testing teams to ensureon-time delivery, security compliance, andperformance optimization of cryptographic implementations.
Assess and mitigatecryptographic risks (e.g., side-channel attacks, key management vulnerabilities) while aligning solutions withglobal security standards andcustomer-specific requirements.
What We Are Looking For
Engineering degree inTelecommunications, Cybersecurity, or related STEM field with5+ years designing embedded security systems (requirements, architecture, testing).
3+ years of experience in at least 3 of the following:model-based system engineering, Common Criteria certification, cybersecurity solution deployment (firewalls, anti-DDoS, risk management),IP/IPv6 networking, or embedded Linux.
Hands-on expertise incryptography-centric design, includingclassified information handling, crypto governance, EBIOS risk assessments, ortranslating business needs into technical security solutions.
Proven experience withsecurity certification frameworks (e.g.,Common Criteria) and adherence totechnical/governance constraints inhigh-assurance environments (classified or regulated sectors).
Familiarity with tools likeCapella, DOORS, Polarion, Jira, or LaTeX is a strong differentiator.
Passionate about diverse tech integrations, continuous learning, and problem-solving withstrong communication skills,
Customer-focused mindset with a track record ofpragmatic delivery, cross-functional collaboration, andbridging technical, business, and operational gaps—experience inknowledge sharing (seminars, webinars, whitepapers) is a plus.
