Quality Assurance Engineer -- Junior Product Manager | AI / Trucking

We are seeking a meticulous and proactiveQuality Assurance Engineer with significant experience in the trucking industry to join our remote team.

Our company utilizesReact and Django frameworks built on top ofGCP. Basic technical knowledge is required, and you will be expected to review work primarily viaGit GUI.

The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding oftrucking operations and a passion for ensuring the highest quality of our software products. While extensive tech experience is not required, a willingness to learn and adapt to new tools and technologies is essential.

Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensivetest plans andtest cases based on trucking industry knowledge.
• Executemanual testing forweb and mobile applications, focusing on real-world trucking scenarios.
• Identify, document, and track softwaredefects and inconsistencies.
• Collaborate closely with thedevelopment team to provide timely feedback based on industry expertise.
• Performregression testing to ensure existing functionality is not compromised by new features or bug fixes.
• Analyzetest results, report ontesting progress and outcomes, and suggest improvements.
• Continuously improve testingprocesses,tools, andmethodologies.
• Participate incode reviews and provide feedback from a QA perspective.
• Ensure compliance withindustry standards and best practices in QA.

Requirements:

• Significant experience in thetrucking industry, with a deep understanding ofoperations,logistics, andsafety.
• Basic understanding ofsoftware QA methodologies,tools, andprocesses.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to newtesting frameworks and tools.
• Strong attention todetail andproblem-solving skills.
• Excellentcommunication skills and the ability to work effectively in aremote team.
• Familiarity withAgile development processes is a plus.
• Basic knowledge ofSQL andscripting is a plus.
