Senior DevOps Engineer (AWS)

We are seeking a skilled and motivatedSenior DevOps Engineer (AWS) to join our client team. The ideal candidate will bring strong hands-on experience in AWS cloud environments, CI/CD pipeline development, infrastructure automation, and system integration.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for application and infrastructure delivery
• Develop and support AWS-based cloud solutions focused on automation, scalability, security, and reliability
• Manage infrastructure as code using Terraform and AWS CloudFormation
• Automate operational and deployment processes through Bash, Python, and Shell scripting
• Maintain source control and build/release processes with Git, GitLab, Jenkins, AWS CodePipeline, and AWS CodeDeploy
• Collaborate with development and infrastructure teams to establish best practices for deployment, monitoring, and reliability
• Participate in platform improvements, environment upgrades, and DevOps initiatives
• Ensure cloud environments align with AWS security best practices, including IAM roles and security groups
• Handle networking tasks across AWS and on-premises environments
• Contribute to troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement efforts

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in AWS DevOps practices and cloud-based delivery environments
• Expertise in CI/CD tools such as Git, GitLab CI/CD, and Jenkins
• Proficiency in AWS CodePipeline, AWS CodeDeploy, and AWS APIs
• Hands-on experience with Terraform and AWS CloudFormation
• Understanding of AWS security best practices, including IAM roles, policies, and security groups
• Skills in scripting languages such as Bash/Shell, Python, and SQL
• Familiarity with Perl for automation and scripting tasks
• Working knowledge of automation and orchestration tools such as Ansible, Puppet, and Rundeck
• Strong knowledge of Linux/Unix environments
• Understanding of networking concepts, including cloud and on-premises connectivity
• Flexibility to participate in tooling enhancement, platform upgrades, and broader DevOps initiatives
• English proficiency at B2 level or higher

Nice to have

• Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools such as CloudWatch, Datadog, and Splunk
• Knowledge of additional observability platforms such as Sumo Logic and ELK Stack
• Working knowledge of AWS services such as ECS, EC2, and Lambda
• Familiarity with AWS data and messaging services such as RDS, DynamoDB, SNS, and SQS
• Skills in containerization and networking tools such as Docker, Kubernetes, and ALB/ELB, along with exposure to hybrid infrastructure environments
