El Rol/ The Rol 

This positionis responsible forthe handling of the documentation preparation, monitoring and coordinating of customs release of shipments for the import of commercial goods into Mexico and Mexican exports into the rest of the worldin accordance withMexican Customs Regulations. 

PrincipalesResponsabilidades  /Key Responsibilities  

• To provide the highest level of customer service to clients, vendors, and service providers inacquiringthe proper import/export documentation. 

• Facilitate set up of Mexican IOR file with Buckland MX broker Portfolio Partnership. 

• Integrate Legal MX files on IOR and update forms in compliance on Mexican regulations early on calendar year. 

• Coordinate all shipments for customs clearance ontimelyfashion and ensure process flow based on best practices per shipment type: Air, Land and Ocean. 

• Communicate,delegateandexpediteshipment clearance through multiple ports with Buckland MX Vendors in accordanceonclient’s priorities and instructions. 

• Assist on Compliance andmonitoroperations per types: V1, RT, F4, A3 and other asrequested. 

• Preparation of customs and internal documents for customs clearance. 

• Coordinate daily tasks in an efficient manner; prioritize activities and define urgent process reviews for Warehouse and office improvement. 

• Completion of mid to high volume shipment clearance for Air, Land and Ocean on different Mexican Ports of entry/outcome. 

• Prepare daily and weekly reports based on shipment status for Air, Land and Ocean shipments. 

• Assess customs operation performance for MX Vendors. 

• Provide information requested for Mexican Trade compliance. 

• Perform auditing on BGSS and shipments documents are promptly upload on Buckland Portal. 

• Queries handled in a prompt, efficient and professionalmanner 

• Integrate Summary Shipment for Liquidation Box Reports. 

• Provide management reports and full accountability for billing. 

• Client servicing and reporting of any issues to Team Leader/Manager 

• Work to be performed in conformance with the Buckland Quality System (BQS) 

• Other duties or projects as assigned.

Requisitos de Competenciay Experiencia/RequiredQualificationsandExperience 

• +5 Years plus experience with Mexican Import/Exports Operations. 

• International Business/International commerce/International LogisticsBachelor Degree. 

• Proven Knowledge on Mexican Legislation in Foreign Trade Business. 

• Customs Experiences is an asset. 

• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, excel skills, Windows, an asset. 

• Excellent customer service skills and ability to generate and follow up on salesleads 

• Ability toidentify, develop and implement processes improvementinitiatives 

• Demonstrated problem solving, organization skills with attention todetail 

• Strong attention to detail and ability to handle multiple tasks.  

• Strong teamplayer with the ability to work independently. 

• Above average andaccuratekeyboarding skills. 

• English Language Skills as native or second language (Toefl550). 

• Must be flexible for work on weekends and holiday asrequired. 

• Some travel may berequiredto our office locations. 

• US Visa B1/B2 

• Impeccable record. 

• Position Regulated by Mexico STPS. 

• Must be legally eligible towork for the Company at alltimes 

• Valid Passport and ability and desire to occasionally travel toUSA/Canada

• Occasionally bend, squat, kneel, reach above shoulder, andfrequentlysit, handle objects (manual dexterity), use fine finger movement.  

• Occasionally must carry/lift loads of up to 25 lbs.
