Job Role

The AVP for Business Analysis and Project Management in Technology is a strategic leadership role responsible for bridging business objectives with technology solutions. This position oversees end-to-end project delivery, ensuring alignment between business requirements and technical implementation while driving efficiency, innovation, and stakeholder satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

Business Analysis:

• Partner with business stakeholders to understand objectives, processes, and pain points.
• Translate business needs into clear, actionable technical requirements and solution designs.
• Conduct feasibility studies, impact analysis, and ensure alignment with organizational strategy.

Project Management:

• Lead planning, execution, and delivery of technology projects within scope, budget, and timelines.
• Manage risks, dependencies, and resource allocation across multiple initiatives.
• Implement best practices in Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid methodologies to optimize delivery.

Leadership & Governance:

• Drive cross-functional collaboration between business units, technology teams, and vendors.
• Establish governance frameworks for project tracking, reporting, and compliance.
• Mentor and develop BA and PM teams to build organizational capability.
• Stakeholder Engagement:
• Communicate effectively with senior leadership, providing updates on progress, risks, and outcomes.
• Ensure stakeholder expectations are managed and deliverables meet quality standards.

Required Skills & Competencies:

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a business-first mindset.
• Expertise in technology platforms, digital transformation, and enterprise systems.
• Proven experience in project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall).
• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Technology, Business, or related field (Master’s preferred).
• 10+ years of experience in technology projects, with at least 5 years in leadership roles.
• Certifications such as PMP, CBAP, or Agile (Scrum Master/SAFe) are highly desirable.
