Forward Deployed Engineer

THE WORK

• Work directly with clients to design, build, and deploy innovative technology solutions that address real business challenges.
• Translate complex business requirements into scalable technical solutions, acting as a bridge between business stakeholders and engineering teams.
• Prototype, develop, and implement intelligent applications, automation solutions, and modern digital products.
• Participate in client workshops, discovery sessions, solution demonstrations, and architecture discussions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including software engineers, architects, data specialists, and business stakeholders.
• Support clients throughout the entire solution lifecycle, from ideation and proof-of-concept through deployment and optimization.
• Analyze technical challenges, troubleshoot issues, and identify opportunities to improve solution effectiveness and business outcomes.
• Continuously learn emerging technologies and help clients adopt new capabilities responsibly and effectively.

Flexible:The work location for this role may include a mix of working remotely (most of the time), onsite at a client, or in an Accenture office, depending on specific project circumstances. With all our roles, there is some in-person time for collaboration, learning, and building relationships with clients, peers, leaders, and communities.

HERE'S WHAT YOU'LL NEED:

• 1+ years of experience in software engineering, cloud engineering, data engineering, AI engineering, solution engineering, or a related technical field.
• Experience with Python or another modern programming language.
• Basic understanding of cloud technologies, distributed systems, or modern software architectures.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Strong curiosity and willingness to learn new technologies and approaches.
• Experience working in collaborative, international, and multidisciplinary environments.
• Fluent English, both written and spoken.

BONUS POINTS IF YOU HAVE:

• Experience working with cloud platforms such as Google Cloud
• Experience building data, analytics, AI, or automation solutions.
• Knowledge of modern AI technologies, intelligent automation, or advanced software development practices.
• Experience working directly with clients in consulting, solution engineering, technical advisory, or pre-sales roles.
• Industry-recognized technology certifications.
• Experience participating in solution architecture, technical discovery, or innovation initiatives.
