In line with our increasing business, we are looking for aSite Civil Inspector to project manage and work in 150 MW Onshore Wind Farm in the Cambodia.

Project & Role Overview

This assignment is for a150 MW onshore wind farm project with a plannedassignment duration of up to 18 months. The project comprises approximately24 wind turbines, associatedhardstands,internal and access roads,electrical collection systems, aswitching station, andsite office / warehouse facilities.

TheOwner’s Engineer (OE) Site Civil Inspector will represent theOwner’s Engineer team on-site and report to theOwner’s Site Manager and OE Project Manager. The role is responsible formonitoring, supervising, and inspecting civil construction works carried out by the EPC contractor, ensuring compliance with project specifications, approved designs, quality standards, and construction methodologies.

In line with our growing business, we are seeking a Site Civil Inspector to supervise civil works for a 150 MW onshore wind farm project in Cambodia.

Key Responsibilities

Site Supervision & Inspection

  • Supervise and inspectcivil construction works performed by the EPC contractor.

  • Monitor construction activities including hardstands, access roads, drainage systems, and other civil infrastructure.

  • Ensure works are executed in accordance withapproved drawings, specifications, and project standards.

Technical Review

  • Reviewmethod statements and work procedures submitted by the EPC contractor related to civil works.

  • Review and provide comments oncivil engineering shop drawings.

Quality Assurance & Compliance

  • Ensure civil works comply withproject specifications, engineering standards, and quality requirements.

  • Identify and reportnon-conformities, construction issues, and deviations from approved documents.

  • Verify proper implementation ofquality control and inspection procedures.

Reporting & Coordination

  • Providedaily site reports to the Owner’s Site Manager regarding progress, observations, and site issues.

  • Support the preparation ofmonthly progress reports for the Owner’s Engineer team.

  • Coordinate with theOwner, OE team, and EPC contractor to resolve site technical issues and ensure smooth project execution.

 

Education

  • Bachelor’s Degree inCivil Engineering or a related engineering discipline.

Experience

  • Minimum5–10 years of experience incivil construction supervision or inspection.

  • Experience inlarge infrastructure or renewable energy projects such aswind farms, solar farms, power plants, or industrial projects is preferred.

  • Skills & Competencies

  • Strong understanding ofcivil engineering construction methods and quality control procedures.

  • Ability to reviewmethod statements, shop drawings, and technical documentation.

  • Goodsite reporting and documentation skills.

  • Strongcommunication and coordination skills to work with multiple stakeholders on site.

  • Proficiency inEnglish communication (written and spoken).

  • Experience working onEPC construction projects and coordinating with contractors on-site.

  • Familiarity withwind turbine foundation construction, roads, and site infrastructure is an advantage.
