Software Engineer with strong expertise in Informatica

About the Role

We are looking for a skilledSoftware Engineer with strong expertise in Informatica to design, develop, and maintain scalable data integration and ETL solutions. You will work closely with data engineers, analysts, and business stakeholders to transform raw data into reliable, high-quality datasets that support business and technical initiatives.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys building robust data pipelines, optimizing performance, and ensuring data accuracy across complex systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintainInformatica ETL workflows and mappings.
• Build and optimize data pipelines usingInformatica PowerCenter / IICS / IDMC.
• Integrate data from multiple sources including databases, APIs, files, and cloud platforms.
• Ensure data quality, integrity, and consistency across systems.
• Collaborate with product owners, analysts, and engineers to translate business needs into technical solutions.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve performance and data issues.
• Implement best practices for error handling, logging, and automation.
• Participate in code reviews, documentation, and deployment processes.
• Support production environments and perform root cause analysis for incidents.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience with Informatica (PowerCenter, IICS, or IDMC).
• Strong knowledge ofETL concepts, data warehousing, and data modeling.
• Proficiency inSQL and relational databases (Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, etc.).
• Experience working withlarge datasets and performance tuning.
• Understanding ofdata integration, transformation, and validation techniques.
• Familiarity with Linux/Unix environments and scheduling tools.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Must be willing to work onsite at IT Park Cebu City
• Open to work on a Graveyard shift

Nice to Have

• Experience withcloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Knowledge ofPython, Shell scripting, or Java.
• Exposure toCI/CD pipelines for data platforms.
• Experience with APIs, JSON, XML, and real-time integrations.
• Informatica certifications.
