Ideal Candidate
Must possess12+ years of commercial construction experience, including10+ years of field supervision experience.
Must have direct experience serving asGeneral Superintendent or Lead Superintendent on$100M+ Aviation construction projects.
Must have experience managinglarge, complex commercial construction projects from preconstruction through project completion.
Must have extensive experience leading field operations, subcontractors, project scheduling, safety, quality, cost control, and workforce management.
Must possess strong knowledge ofLean Construction principles, construction sequencing, scheduling, QA/QC, budgeting, procurement, and project execution.
Must have experience managing Owners, Architects, Engineers, Subcontractors, and cross-functional project teams while driving project performance and safety excellence.
Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related discipline is preferred.
TheTraveling General Superintendent – Aviation will lead field operations for some of the company's largest and most complex aviation construction projects throughout the United States.
This role provides overall leadership for project execution, construction sequencing, safety, subcontractor management, scheduling, quality assurance, budget performance, and client satisfaction while leading multiple project teams and supporting strategic business initiatives. The successful candidate will champion Lean Construction, operational excellence, and an injury-free safety culture across all assigned projects.
Key Responsibilities
Lead large-scale aviation construction projects from planning through completion.
Manage field operations, superintendents, subcontractors, and project teams.
Develop and manage construction schedules.
Lead jobsite safety programs and maintain an injury-free culture.
Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, suppliers, and field staff.
Drive Lean Construction and Continuous Improvement initiatives.
Manage project sequencing and workflow.
Monitor project costs, budgets, productivity, and schedules.
Lead owner, architect, subcontractor, and OAC meetings.
Oversee QA/QC and project compliance.
Support procurement, material planning, and logistics.
Participate in project buyout, preplanning, and change management.
Support hiring, mentoring, and development of field leadership.
Drive diversity, inclusion, and employee engagement.
Lead multiple complex aviation construction projects simultaneously.
Required Qualifications
12+ years of Commercial Construction experience.
10+ years of Field Supervision experience.
Experience leading$100M+ Aviation construction projects.
Experience as General Superintendent, Senior Superintendent, or equivalent.
