Job Description:

Job Summary**

As a Travel Plaza Cashier at Onvo, you will be providing exceptional customer service to our customers.

Job Responsibilities

* Accurately and efficiently process customer transactions using a point-of-sale (POS) system, including cash, credit/debit cards, and other payment methods.
* Handle cash and maintain an accurate cash drawer, including counting and reconciling at the beginning and end of shifts.
* Provide friendly and helpful customer service, assisting with product inquiries, locating items, and resolving minor customer concerns.
* Maintain a clean and organized checkout area and assist with general store cleanliness as needed.
* Stock shelves, front-face products, and ensure proper pricing and signage.
* Process fuel transactions and understand various fuel payment options.
* Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including those related to age-restricted sales (e.g., tobacco, alcohol) and loss prevention.
* Assist with other duties as assigned by management to ensure the smooth operation of the travel plaza.

Job Qualifications

* Excellent customer service and communication skills.
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
* Basic math skills and ability to accurately process transactions.
* Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds occasionally.
* Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
* Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
