Travel Plaza Cashier

Job Description:

As a Travel Plaza Cashier at Onvo, you will be the friendly face of our travel center, responsible for efficiently processing customer transactions and ensuring a positive experience for all visitors.

Job Responsibilities:

* Accurately and efficiently process cash, credit, and debit card transactions for fuel, merchandise, and services.
* Maintain a clean and organized checkout area and surrounding store sections.
* Assist customers with inquiries, locate products, and provide information about Onvo's offerings.
* Handle cash and maintain a balanced till, reconciling discrepancies as needed.
* Stock shelves, rotate merchandise, and ensure proper product display.
* Operate lottery terminals and process lottery sales according to regulations.
* Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including those related to age-restricted sales (e.g., tobacco, alcohol).
* Provide exceptional customer service, addressing concerns and resolving issues promptly and courteously.
* Perform light cleaning duties, including sweeping, wiping down counters, and emptying trash.
* Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth store operations.

Job Qualifications:

* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to accurately handle cash and operate a point-of-sale (POS) system.
* Strong attention to detail and ability to perform basic math calculations.
* Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds occasionally.
* Availability to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
* A positive attitude and a commitment to providing outstanding customer service.
