Travel Plaza Cashier

Job Description:

The Travel Plaza Cashier at Onvo is responsible for providing excellent customer service and maintaining a clean and organized environment.

Job Responsibilities

* Greet customers warmly and assist them with their purchases in a friendly and efficient manner.
* Operate cash register, scan items, and process various payment methods (cash, credit/debit cards, gift cards, etc.) accurately and quickly.
* Handle cash and maintain a balanced till, including making correct change.
* Answer customer inquiries regarding products, services, and store promotions.
* Assist with stocking shelves, rotating inventory, and ensuring products are properly displayed.
* Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the sales counter, checkout area, and surrounding store environment.
* Follow all company policies and procedures, including those related to cash handling, age-restricted sales (e.g., tobacco, alcohol), and security.
* Assist with other duties as assigned by management to ensure smooth operation of the travel plaza.

Job Qualifications

* * Previous experience in a retail or customer service role is a plus.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently.
* Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
* Basic math skills are required.
* Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds occasionally.
* Must be reliable, punctual, and have a positive attitude.
* Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Shift:

Multiple shifts available full time and part time.
