Travel Plaza Cashier

Job Description:

As a Travel Plaza Cashier at Onvo, you will be the face of our establishment, responsible for accurately and efficiently processing customer transactions, providing excellent customer service, and maintaining a clean and organized checkout area.

Job Responsibilities

* Operate a cash register, handle cash, credit, and debit card transactions accurately, and make change.
* Scan and bag merchandise, ensuring correct pricing and quantity.
* Greet customers warmly, answer questions, and provide information about products, services, and promotions.
* Maintain a clean and organized checkout area, including stocking shelves near the register.
* Assist customers with fuel pump operation and resolve minor issues.
* Handle customer complaints and concerns with professionalism and escalate as needed.
* Perform basic cleaning tasks throughout the store as required.
* Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including those related to cash handling and safety.
* Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations and customer satisfaction.

Job Qualifications:
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently.
* Basic math skills.
* Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds occasionally.
* Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
* A positive attitude and a strong commitment to customer service.
