Summary:
The Transportation Analyst is responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of bulk customer orders at the TMS level before carrier tender. This role involves managing customer interactions, validating order details, and maintaining effective communication with relevant teams.
 
Responsibilities
  • Manage and contact bulk customers to validate order accuracy, including S/T location, contact information, bulk product, and quantity.
  • Perform order validation steps such as meter or scale unload verification.
  • Document all customer contacts according to call script guidelines.
  • Manage and perform all data updates in TMS, followed by email updates to customer service.
  • Work independently, with or without direct supervision, to maintain order integrity.
  • Collaborate closely with the bulk control tower team and follow directions as needed.
 
Qualifications
  • Experience in transportation management systems (TMS) or related fields.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to verify order information accurately.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
 
Skills
  • Comfortable and courteous on the telephone.
  • Proficiency in data management and customer service communication.
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work in a fast-paced environment.
 
Pay Transparency:The typical base pay for this role across the U.S. is: $30.00 - $30.00 /hour. Non-exempt positions are eligible for overtime at a rate of 1.5 times the base hourly rate for all hours worked in excess of 40 in a work week, or as required by state or local law. Final offer amounts, within the base pay set forth above, are determined by factors including your relevant skills, education and experience. Full-time employees are eligible to select from different benefits packages. Packages may include medical, dental, and vision benefits, health savings accounts with qualified medical plan enrollment, 10 paid days off, 3 days paid bereavement leave, 401(k) plan participation with employer match, life and disability insurance, commuter benefits, dependent care flexible spending account, accident insurance, critical illness insurance, hospital indemnity insurance, accommodations and reimbursement for work travel, and discretionary performance or recognition bonus.
