In this role, you will play a key part in planning, coordinating, and optimizing transportation activities, ensuring efficient and reliable delivery operations while building strong relationships with transport providers and business partners.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Participate in the development of transportation strategies and planning of transportation needs.
  2. Negotiate and contract container, road, and/or rail transportation services.
  3. Sign transportation agreements and contracts.
  4. Obtain and manage the documentation required for transportation activities.
  5. Monitor transportation and cargo contracts, including execution periods, rates, quantities, and loading/unloading operations.
  6. Maintain regular communication with business partners, including service providers and suppliers.
  7. Assign transport units and coordinate transportation activities together with the Operations Department.
  8. Monitor the transportation market, including cargo flows, customers, rates, and market trends.
  9. Provide transportation quotations and support to the Commercial Department.
  10. Verify and enter transportation invoices into internal systems to initiate payment, ensuring data accuracy.
  11. Resolve operational issues in a timely manner, including negotiating penalties when required.
  12. Participate in meetings with transport providers and internal operational meetings.
  13. Provide support and contribute to the overall activities of the department.
  14. Prepare and maintain activity reports.
Qualifications & Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Transportation, Engineering, Logistics, or a related field. 
  • Strong organizational, logistics, and coordination skills. 
  • At least 3 years of experience in transportation operations, freight forwarding, or logistics. 
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. 
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills. 
  • Advanced user of Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook). 
  • Advanced English language skills, both written and spoken. 
  • Strong analytical and legal reasoning skills. 
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously. 
  • High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and confidentiality.
