Husqvarna Construction inLenexa, KS, is hiring an experiencedTransfer Truck Operatorfor our Lenexa Distribution Center. In this role, you are the primary resource for coordinating and executing product transport between facilities and internal moves within the Distribution Center. You will also be the primary contact for troubleshooting and resolution for other DC department staff who are experiencing inventory issues.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

Transporting Products (60%)

• Complete scheduled and daily product transfers between the warehouse, our off-site storage facility (Meritex caves), and our local Service Center to support order fulfillment
• Work with the Service Center to pick up returned products and process them back into stock
• Coordinate off-site overflow storage with the inbound team, including storage trailers
• Serve as the designated driver for the company Ford F-150 and box truck, including fueling and scheduling maintenance

Receiving Support (40%)

• Use a forklift to unload inbound shipments and move product to storage locations
• Inspect deliveries and report any discrepancies or damage
• Create inbound scan records and scan items to confirm the right products and quantities
• Put items away in their primary stock locations, checking that inventory records stay accurate

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

At least 1-2 years’ previous experience working in a warehouse environment; Must be able to pass DOT physical and have a clean driving record; Stand-up and sit-down forklift experience; Ability to lift, push/pull and stand for long periods of time

Occasional Saturday overtime may be required based on business needs.
