Compensation:Starting at $85,000 annually plus 10% annual incentive opportunity. Actual starting pay will be based on experience, skills, and overall qualifications.
About ECS
We’re in the risk management business. With our help, our clients keep their fire sprinkler systems safe. Whether it’s a risk to lives, structures, properties, or everyday business, we guide clients to the best answer for their safety. Corrosion is our enemy and safety is our goal.
To accomplish that goal, we’ve come to understand why and how corrosion happens. There’s no one-size-fits-all solution because a truly cost-effective combination of devices, systems, and management approaches depends on your individual needs. And we never stop finding new and better ways to serve those needs.
About the Role
The Training & Development Specialist role primarily consists of assessing training requirements, designing curriculum, delivering training sessions using various methodologies, and managing day-to-day learning activities for new and existing employees. This role helps build and deliver a scalable, internal training program that supports employee development and the company’s growth.
The role will work to identify ECS’s training needs by collaborating with teams and subject matter experts (SMEs) across the company. These needs will be fulfilled by developing and delivering eLearning, instructor-led training (ILT), and virtual instructor-led training (VILT). The type of training to be delivered will primarily be Technical and Process (“How-To”) style training. However, there will likely be aspects of Onboarding, Product Compliance and Non-Product Compliance training as well.
The role also coordinates training schedules, maintains curriculum resources, and contributes to the overall training strategy.
The successful candidate will bring experience in instructional design and group facilitation, along with familiarity with learning management systems (LMS), KPI development and reporting, and Salesforce. The candidate will also develop knowledge of fire sprinkler systems, fire protection concepts, company products and services, and general sales processes.
