JOBSUMMARY:TheTraining &Development(T&D)AssociateprovidestrainingandcoachingtobothMissionServicesworkforceemployeesandDonatedGoods &Retail(DGR)employeeson-siteatdesignatedretailstoresinordertodevelophardandsoftskillsandcommunicateeffectivelyacrossalldepartments.

ESSENTIALDUTIES

ProvidetrainingandsupporttoMissionServicesworkforceemployeesandDGRemployeesassignedtodonatedgoodsworksitesthroughprogramssuchasCalWORKs.Thisincludestraininginthebasicdutiesof asalesassociate,e-commerceassociate,processor,and/ormaterialhandler.

Documentindividuals'performancethroughweeklyassessments;identifyworkconcernsandaddressissueswithemployeesandtheEmploymentSpecialist.

Dependingontheworksiteandtheprograms offered there,employeesmayberequired tofollowspecifictimekeepingproceduresinaccordancewithorganizationalandregulatoryguidelines.

Greetstorecustomersandofferassistanceandsuggestionstohelpthemmakeproductselections.

Ringupsalesonthecashregister,followingcashhandlingprocedures.Place/displayinventoryonthesalesfloorinaccordancewithdefinedprocedures.

Straightenand/orrearrangemerchandisetoincreasecustomerappealandensure aneatandsafeworkenvironment.

Assistwithstockrotationandmarkdowns,asdirectedbytheStoreManagerordesignee.Preparestoredonationsandrotatemerchandisefortransfertothecentralprocessingplant.

Communicateproblems,complaints,potentialtheftand/orsafetyissuestotheStoreManager,DirectorofTraining &Development,andEmploymentSpecialist.

Ensurescompletionofallin-storetrainingforMissionServicesworkforceemployeesandDGRemployees.

Setsworkscheduleswiththestoremanagerordesignee;assignsworktaskstoworkforceemployees.

Inconcert withtheStoreManagerandT&DDirector, modifiesworkstationsorspecificassignments tomeet thelimitationsofindividualswithdisabilities.

Trains,enforces,anddisplayspositiveworkertraits,includingconduct,performance,andattendancestandards.

Qualifications

JOBSPECIFICATIONS

EDUCATIONREQUIRED:                         High  school  diploma  or  equivalent.  Associate

degreeinbehavioralscienceorrelatedfield,orequivalent,preferred.

LICENSE/CERTIFICATIONREQ’D           May  require  a  valid  California  class  C  driver

license,dependingonspecificlocation. .

EXPERIENCEDESIRED:                          Twoyearsofexperiencein adonatedgoods

environment(retailorproduction),orequivalent.

Oneyearofexperiencein asupervisoryorleadrole.

Oneyearofexperienceworkingwithindividualswithobstaclestoemployment.
