Senior Cloud Solutions Architect / Principal Consultant (AWS Focus) ( 108-09EARC-01)

This role owns the technical side of complex AWS consulting engagements end to end, from discovery to go-live. It combines hands-on architecture work with direct client-facing leadership: designing secure, scalable AWS environments, leading migrations, and presenting decisions to both engineering teams and C-level stakeholders in English and Portuguese.

The scope includes designing architectures aligned with the AWS Well-Architected Framework, leading on-prem-to-cloud and cloud-to-cloud migrations, driving container adoption on EKS, and advising on the integration of AI/ML services into client workflows.

What you will do

• Design and implement complex, secure, and scalable AWS architectures following the AWS Well-Architected Framework, with security built into every layer.

• Translate business requirements into technical roadmaps and architectural decisions.

• Lead end-to-end migrations (on-prem-to-cloud and cloud-to-cloud) using AWS MGN and DMS, including complex data sets and legacy system integration.

• Drive the adoption of Kubernetes (EKS) and microservices architectures.

• Advise on and implement AI/ML services (Amazon Bedrock, SageMaker) to modernize client workflows.

• Produce Environment Assessments, Gap Analyses, Technical Roadmaps, and Project Handovers for executive and technical audiences.

• Keep customer stakeholders informed on progress, risks, and milestones, and work with Project Managers to keep delivery aligned with timeline, budget, and scope.

• Guide engineers through code and architecture reviews, and troubleshoot complex issues directly in the console or CLI when needed.

Job requirements

• 8+ years in IT infrastructure/architecture, including 5+ years focused on AWS.

• Proven experience in a consulting or Principal-level role.

• Expert-level knowledge of AWS core services (EC2, S3, VPC, Lambda, IAM) and advanced networking (Direct Connect, Transit Gateway).

• Deep experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and EKS.

• Strong Linux/Unix administration skills and experience with RDS, Aurora, DynamoDB, and NoSQL databases.

• Track record of large-scale migrations involving complex data sets and legacy systems.

• Familiarity with the AWS AI/ML stack and integrating Generative AI into enterprise architectures.

• Ability to explain technical decisions clearly to non-technical and executive stakeholders.

• Fluent English and Portuguese (written and verbal), including presenting to C-level executives in both languages.

• AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional and/or AWS Certified Security – Specialty.

• Terraform, CloudFormation, or CDK.

• CI/CD pipelines and automated testing.
