Salary (DOE):$22.00 - 25.00/hr.
Position Summary
Cenergy is seeking an experienced Timekeeper to support refinery operations by managing employee timekeeping activities and ensuring accurate recording of employee work hours. This role works closely with supervisors, payroll personnel, and field employees to maintain accurate time records, resolve discrepancies, and ensure compliance with company procedures.
Candidates must have prior experience supporting personnel in a refinery, petrochemical, industrial, or heavy construction environment.
Responsibilities
- Review, audit, and maintain employee time records for accuracy and completeness.
- Follow up with supervisors regarding missing or outstanding timecard approvals.
- Review and sign off on timecards submitted by supervisors within assigned areas.
- Process manual timekeeping actions, corrections, and applicable leave codes.
- Investigate and resolve timekeeping discrepancies in a timely manner.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, payroll requirements, and reporting deadlines.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation related to employee timekeeping.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors, payroll personnel, and field employees regarding timekeeping matters.
- Support refinery maintenance, turnaround, construction, and operations teams as needed.
Required Qualifications
- 2-4 years of Timekeeper experience.
- Previous experience in a refinery, petrochemical plant, industrial facility, or heavy construction environment required.
- Experience processing timecards for exempt and non-exempt employees.
- Proficiency with electronic timekeeping systems and Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and follow-up abilities.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced industrial environment and meet deadlines.
- Valid TWIC Card required.
- Valid Driver's License required.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting refinery turnarounds, maintenance, or construction projects.
- Experience working with large craft labor workforces.
- Knowledge of payroll processes and workforce reporting.
