JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Hours: 6a-2:30p; Weekend, holiday, and on-call rotations required
Operating Room Readiness - Review daily surgical schedules and prepare supplies, equipment, and anesthesia work areas to support patient care. Ensure equipment is available, functional, and ready for use.
Communication - Build positive working relationships with anesthesia providers, surgical teams, and colleagues. Respond promptly to requests and communicate important information to support efficient operations.
Clinical Assisting - Assist anesthesia providers during patient care activities, including preparing equipment and supplies, setting up airway and IV-related equipment, supporting patient positioning, and assembling required devices and materials during procedures.
Supply & Equipment Management - Maintain anesthesia supplies, materials, and equipment within procedural and anesthetizing locations. Monitor inventory levels, restock supplies, and ensure equipment is clean, organized, and ready for use.
Continuous Improvement - Participate in department quality and improvement initiatives. Identify opportunities to improve processes, contribute ideas, assist with implementation efforts, and support data collection activities as needed.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
High school diploma or equivalent
Preferred:
Clinical or inventory management experience
