We are seeking an experienced BI Platform Administrator with strong expertise in TIBCO Spotfire and SAP BusinessObjects administration. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, configuring, upgrading, securing, and maintaining enterprise reporting and visualization platforms across cloud and on-premises environments. This role requires hands-on experience in platform architecture, performance optimization, access management, database connectivity, system monitoring, and L2/L3 production support.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, configure, upgrade, and maintain TIBCO Spotfire Server, Web Player, Automation Services, and SAP BusinessObjects BI Platform components.

• Administer Spotfire architecture components, including Node Manager, Library, and Services.

• Manage SAP BusinessObjects tools, including Central Management Console (CMC), Web Intelligence, Information Design Tool (IDT), and Universe Design Tool (UDT).

• Maintain SAP BO Universes (UNX/UNV) and configure data connections and data sources in Spotfire.

• Manage user accounts, roles, groups, permissions, and access controls across both platforms.

• Integrate BI platforms with LDAP, Active Directory, Single Sign-On (SSO), Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), and Client Entra ID.

• Configure and maintain connectivity to Oracle, SQL Server, SAP HANA, Databricks, and other enterprise data platforms.

• Support Development, QA, and Production environments, including content migration and deployment activities.

• Manage shared storage infrastructure, including NAS and FxS, where applicable.

• Perform system health checks, server monitoring, troubleshooting, capacity planning, and performance tuning.

• Apply patches, hotfixes, security updates, and platform upgrades while minimizing business disruption.

• Optimize queries, reports, dashboards, caching strategies, load balancing, and server resource utilization.

• Execute post-upgrade validation, regression testing, and system testing following configuration changes.

• Provide L2/L3 technical support to business users, report developers, and application teams.

• Maintain technical documentation, operational runbooks, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and system configuration records.

• Ensure compliance with enterprise security policies, IT governance requirements, and audit standards.

• Participate in business and technical meetings to coordinate platform enhancements, incident resolution, and operational improvements.

Required Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in BI platform administration, reporting infrastructure, or enterprise visualization tools.

• Strong hands-on administration experience with TIBCO Spotfire and/or SAP BusinessObjects BI Platform.

• Knowledge of Spotfire versions 12.x and 14.x and SAP BusinessObjects BI 4.x.

• Understanding of Spotfire architecture, including Node Manager, Library, Services, Web Player, and Automation Services.

• Experience with SAP BO administration, Web Intelligence, CMC, IDT/UDT, and Universe management.

• Experience administering Windows and Linux servers and supporting Tomcat or other web server environments.

• Working knowledge of Oracle, SQL Server, SAP HANA, Databricks, and enterprise data connectivity.

• Experience with authentication, authorization, SSO, LDAP, Active Directory, and MFA integrations.

• Strong troubleshooting, performance tuning, incident management, and production support skills.

• Ability to manage platform upgrades, migrations, security controls, and technical documentation.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting BI platforms in cloud and on-premises environments.

• Familiarity with enterprise shared storage solutions, including NAS and FxS.

• Experience with load balancing, caching, capacity planning, and high-availability configurations.

• Knowledge of ITIL-based support processes, audit readiness, and IT governance practices.

• Strong communication and stakeholder coordination skills.
