Genesis10 is currently seeking a Third-Party Technology Governance & Oversight Analyst for a contract position with a Global Financial Institution located in Charlotte, NC. This is a 12+ month contract opportunity.
This role supports the identification, tracking, and oversight of technology services provided by third parties and shared across the organization's global legal entities. The ideal candidate will focus on managing inter-affiliate technology service relationships, maintaining governance and compliance documentation, researching regulatory requirements, and ensuring appropriate oversight of technology outsourcing arrangements across international jurisdictions.
Responsibilities:
- Identify, document, and track third-party technology services and outsourcing arrangements supporting multiple global legal entities
- Analyze inter-affiliate technology service relationships to identify cross-border service dependencies and potential regulatory or compliance implications
- Support governance, oversight, quality assurance, and ongoing monitoring of third-party technology services across global business operations
- Research and interpret applicable regulatory requirements related to technology outsourcing, third-party risk management, and intercompany service arrangements across international jurisdictions
- Maintain and enhance Excel-based tracking tools, reporting dashboards, inventories, and documentation used to manage the existing governance program
- Review service records, contractual information, and supporting documentation to validate data accuracy, completeness, and compliance with established governance requirements
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders, technology teams, legal entities, risk management, compliance, and third-party relationship managers to gather information and resolve documentation gaps
- Monitor regulatory obligations, governance requirements, service relationships, and outstanding actions to support ongoing compliance and program effectiveness
- Develop and maintain standardized processes, procedures, and quality controls for tracking technology services and managing governance-related information
- Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency by leveraging Microsoft Copilot, AI tools, and automation to streamline research, reporting, and data management activities
- Prepare status reports, management updates, and supporting documentation to communicate program progress, outstanding requirements, and potential risks
- Support the ongoing development and maturity of the third-party technology governance program by identifying process gaps and recommending improvements
Requirements:
- Experience in third-party risk management, technology outsourcing, vendor management, regulatory compliance, operational risk, or governance within a financial services organization
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including data analysis, complex spreadsheets, lookups, pivot tables, data validation, and tracking large volumes of information
- Strong research, analytical, and organizational skills, with the ability to interpret regulatory guidance, consolidate information, and identify compliance requirements
- Experience managing third-party relationships, service inventories, outsourcing arrangements, regulatory documentation, or compliance tracking processes
- Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to maintain accurate records, validate data, and manage multiple requirements across complex organizational structures
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to coordinate with cross-functional teams and communicate findings to stakeholders
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
Desired skills:
- Experience supporting global financial institutions, particularly with cross-border technology services, inter-affiliate arrangements, or global legal entity structures
- Familiarity with third-party risk management frameworks, technology outsourcing regulations, vendor governance, and regulatory compliance requirements
- Exposure to banking regulations and supervisory guidance related to outsourcing, operational resilience, and third-party service provider oversight
- Experience developing or supporting governance programs, process documentation, quality assurance procedures, or regulatory tracking initiatives
- Familiarity with Microsoft Copilot, generative AI, or automation tools to improve research, data analysis, reporting, and operational workflows
- Experience working with large datasets, Excel-based program management tools, and reporting processes in a developing or evolving governance environment
Pay range:$34.90 - $42.90 per hour
