TheAssociate Director develops actionable insightsrelated toAccessStrategy in oncology,uncovers drivers and barriers to product access,anddistills insights and learningsapplicableacross theoncologyportfolio. The roleleads primary research(and secondary data analytics as needed) in partnership with other internal teams and external vendors. Close collaboration withAccessStrategy,BrandInsights andAnalytics,BrandMarketingandothercommercial stakeholders is essential. 

 

This position reports to the Director, Market Access & Precision Medicine Integrated Insights within the US Oncology Business Excellence (OBEX) team.Depending on business needs,exact indications covered mayshift andresponsibilities may also includeprecision medicine/biomarker testing insights work.  

 

Key Responsibilities 

  • Lead qualitative and quantitative analyses to deliver clear, actionable insights for priority business needs. 

  • Identify key questions and design research and analytics plans in partnership withcross‑functional stakeholders. 

  • Develop deepexpertise in theAccessStrategy spaceto inform strategy and operational plans. 

  • Create concise, compelling reports and presentations that connect insights to business implications. 

  • Integrate insights across primary research, secondary analytics, field input, marketing, and Access Strategy to deliver commercially relevant recommendations. 

  • Lead KPI development, tracking, and reporting foraccess strategy teams or brands, serving as the voice of HCPs,payers, and otheraccess strategystakeholders, as needed. 

  • Manage external vendors to ensurehigh‑quality project execution. 

  • Champion standardization and capability building across brands and franchises. 

  • Incorporate AI tools to enhance efficiency and accelerateinsights generation.

Essential Qualifications 

  • 3+ years of consulting experience in the pharmaceutical sector. 

  • Experience supporting market access strategy, payer insights, or related access-focused commercial work. 

  • Solid understanding of primary market research methodologies. 

  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate with stakeholders and communicate insights effectively. 

  • Bachelor’s degreerequired. 

 

Desired Qualifications 

  • Experiencebeyond consultingwithin pharma/biotech or related industries (e.g.,analytics, market research, investment banking). 

  • Advanced degree ina quantitative field (e.g., Data Science, Statistics, Engineering, Economics), business (MBA), or biomedical sciences. 

  • Experience in oncologyand/orprecision medicine/biomarkers. 

  • Comfort with quantitative analytics andpatient‑level datasets (e.g., IQVIA, Symphony). 

  • Experience developingend‑to‑end launch insights plans. 

  • Strong project or program management skills. 

The annual base pay for this position ranges from $155,000 to $233,000. Hourly and salaried non-exempt employees will also be paid overtime pay when working qualifying overtime hours. Base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. In addition, our positions offer a short-term incentive bonus opportunity; eligibility to participate in our equity-based long-term incentive program (salaried roles), to receive a retirement contribution (hourly roles), and commission payment eligibility (sales roles). Benefits offered included a qualified retirement program [401(k) plan]; paid vacation and holidays; paid leaves; and, health benefits including medical, prescription drug, dental, and vision coverage in accordance with the terms and conditions of the applicable plans. Additional details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment. If hired, employee will be in an “at-will position” and the Company reserves the right to modify base pay (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
