Role Overview

Fidelia Counseling Services is seeking dedicated Therapeutic Mentors to provide one-on-one, strength-based support to youth. This is acontract position focused on coaching social skills and emotional regulation. We take pride in supporting our local community through culturally sensitive and inclusive care.

Requirements & Qualifications

  • Work Eligibility: Candidatesmust be eligible to work in the U.S.
  • International Students: We welcome applications from international students, provided they arefully aligned with U.S. government work requirements (such as holding a valid EAD, OPT, or CPT authorization).
  • Language Skills:Bilingual candidates are strongly encouraged. Proficiency inSpanish or Portuguese is highly recommended.
  • Transportation: Areliable vehicle is required for community-based work.
  • Age: Must be 21 years of age or older
Education:

Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree in a human services field (preferred).

Experience

Minimum of 1–2 years of experience working with children or adolescents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Wraparound Collaboration: Work closely with "wraparound" service teams (ICC and Family Partners).
  • Community-Based Support: Engage with clients directly in theirhomes and local communities.
  • Inclusive Advocacy: Provide an affirming environment for all youth. We are a proud ally of theLGBTQ+ community.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate and timely progress notes per agency standards.
