Senior Engineer Devices and Peripherals

As a Senior Engineer Devices & Peripherals, you design, automate and continuously improve the technology that enables thousands of NN colleagues to work productively and securely every day. You play a key role in developing our endpoint ecosystem, combining Apple engineering, Azure-based automation and workplace hardware expertise.

You join a team with a growing portfolio and increasing responsibilities. In this role, you create scalable solutions, reduce manual effort and strengthen continuity by sharing expertise and removing single points of failure. You work hands‑on while also shaping ways of working, aligning stakeholders, and helping NN move forward as a true supporter of change.

What are you going to do
You translate complex workplace challenges into reliable, repeatable engineering solutions. Your work improves automation, quality, security and the employee experience. You combine hands-on engineering with technical direction, standardisation and knowledge sharing.

Your key responsibilities

• Design, build and maintain modern macOS and Mobile workplace solutions
• Develop and operate Azure-based automation for device provisioning, configuration, compliance and lifecycle management
• Automate recurring operational activities and simplify processes through standardisation and reusable engineering patterns
• Validate, test and manage endpoint hardware and peripherals, including compatibility, stability, performance and security
• Contribute to meeting-room and room-system technology, including hardware, software and integrations
• Drive lifecycle management and compliance activities across the Devices & Peripherals portfolio
• Create clear technical documentation, runbooks and operational handovers
• Collaborate with Digital Workplace engineers, Security, Architecture, Support, Facilities and suppliers
• Set technical direction, improve standards and mentor colleagues within the team
• Share knowledge and help reduce dependency on individual experts

• Salary between €4,527 and €6,036 euro based on a 36 hour workweek, depending on your knowledge and experience

Who you are

• A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
• At least 5 years of experience in endpoint engineering or modern workplace engineering
• Strong experience with Apple technologies, including macOS and iOS management
• Proven experience with Microsoft Azure and automation solutions
• Experience with scripting and automation using PowerShell, Bash and Zsh
• Solid knowledge of endpoint hardware, peripherals and lifecycle management
• Experience with security, compliance and operational excellence in an enterprise environment
• Ability to simplify complexity using automation and standardisation
• Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills
• Proficiency in English; Dutch is an advantage
