Weāre looking for aBehaviour Support Practitioner to join Ability Action Australia inNorth Tasmania, working part-time hours that make sense for you.
Maybe youāre looking for better balance. Maybe you want to keep doing work that matters without work taking over everything else. Or maybe three or four days a week simply suits your life beautifully.

What will you actually be doing?
Youāll work alongside people with disability, their families and support networks to create meaningful, practical change.
Your days might include:
- Developing and deliveringevidence-based Behaviour Support Plans
- Creating meaningful goals and practical strategies using aPositive Behaviour Support framework
- Working towards thereduction and elimination of restrictive practices
- Building the skills and confidence of families, carers, friends and other important people in a participantās life
- Advocating for the people you support and helping their voices be heard
- Collaborating with a genuinely multidisciplinary allied health team
In short:good clinical work, meaningful relationships and outcomes that actually matter.
A little about you
Youāll have:
- A degree qualification in an allied health discipline such asOccupational Therapy, Speech Pathology or Social Work
- Experience developing, implementing and reviewing Behaviour Support Plans
- Proficient, Advanced or Specialist status as an NDIS Behaviour Support Practitioner
- A genuine passion for working within the disability sector
And ideally, youāre someone who likes having autonomy while still knowing thereās a great team behind you.
