We are seeking a skilled GCP Platform Support Engineer withexpertise in Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) and Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) practices. The ideal candidate willbe responsible for ensuring the reliability, availability, and performance of our cloud-based applications and services on Google Cloud Platform (GCP). You will work closely with development teams to implement CI/CD pipelines,monitor system performance, and troubleshoot issues in a fast-paced environment.Â

Key ResponsibilitiesÂ
Â
Provide technical support for GCP-based applications and services, ensuring high availability and performanceÂ
Automate repetitive tasks and processes using scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash) and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools (e.g., Terraform, Google Deployment Manager)Â
Implement security best practices for cloud resources, including identity and access management (IAM), data encryption, and networkÂ
Monitor and manage cloud resources, including virtual machines, containers, databases, and networking componentsÂ
Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Google Cloud Build, Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similarÂ
Set up and manage monitoring and alerting systems using tools like Google Cloud Monitoring, Prometheus, or Grafana to ensure system health and performanceÂ
Participate in incident response and post-mortem analysis toidentify root causes and implement preventive measuresÂ
SRE best practices, including service levelobjectives (SLOs), service level indicators (SLIs), and error budgetsÂ
Work closely with development, QA, and operations teams to ensure smooth deployment and operation of applicationsÂ
Create andmaintain documentation for system architecture, processes, and proceduresÂ

Required QualificationsÂ
Â
3+ years experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services, including Compute Engine, Kubernetes Engine, Cloud Storage, and Cloud FunctionsÂ
3+yearsexperience with SRE principles and practices, including monitoring, incident management, and performance optimizationÂ
3+ yearsexperienc with CI/CD tools and practices, including experience with Google Cloud Build, Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similarÂ
3+ yearsexperience with container orchestration technologies such as Kubernetes and DockerÂ
3+yearsexperience with scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash) andwithInfrastructure as Code (IaC) tools (e.g., Terraform, Google Deployment Manager)Â
3+ yearsexperience with monitoring and logging tools such as Google Cloud Monitoring, Prometheus, Grafana, or similarÂ
Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with the ability to work under pressureÂ
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teamsÂ

Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect or Professional DevOps Engineer certificationsÂ
Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and practicesÂ
Experience with ETL/data pipeline and orchestration tools (e.g. Cloud Composer, Cloud Data Fusion, Dataflow andDataproc)Â
Knowledge of database technologies (e.g., Cloud SQL,BigQuery) and data management practicesÂ

Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, engineering, or similarÂ

Pay Range
The typical pay range for this role is:
$130,295.00 - $260,590.00
This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls.  The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors.  This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.  This position also includes an award target in the company’s equity award program.Â
