About The Job:

• Threat Hunter to proactively identify threats across our environment, support incident response with initial triage, and contribute to hunt hypothesis development using threat intelligence.

Essential Job Functions:

• Conduct proactive threat hunts using EDR/SIEM/network telemetry based on hypothesis-driven and IOC/TTP-based approaches.
• Analyze logs, alerts, and telemetry to identify anomalous behavior and potential compromise.
• Correlate findings with MITRE Telecommunication&CK framework.
• Act as junior support to the IR team and assist with initial triage, evidence gathering, and documentation during incidents.
• Escalate confirmed threats with clear, actionable findings to senior analysts/IR leads.
• Consume and operationalise threat intelligence from internal and external sources.
• Analyse logs and use cases in SIEM and recommend corrective actions.
• Document hunt methodology, findings, and closure reports.
• Stay current on emerging threats, TTPs, and threat actor campaigns relevant to the organization's sector.

Qualification:

• 2+ years' experience in threat hunting, SOC operations, or incident response.
• Working knowledge of SIEM/EDR tools (e.g., Splunk, CrowdStrike, QRadar).
• Familiarity with MITRE Telecommunication&CK, IOCs, and TTP-based hunting.
• Basic scripting/query skills (KQL, SPL, or similar) for log analysis.
• Understanding of common attack vectors and network/endpoint fundamentals.
• Willingness to work in rotational shifts (non-night shifts only).
• Good written communication skills for reports and IR handoffs.
