Gastoroenterology Physician Assistant

MUST HAVE PRIOR GASTROENTEROLOGY EXPERIENCE

Schedule:Monday–Friday, 9:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.

Excellent work-life balance: This is a fully office-based position with no hospital call, evenings, weekends, or holiday shifts.

A well-established gastroenterology practice is seeking an experienced Physician Assistant to join its outpatient team.

The ideal candidate will have direct GI experience in an outpatient practice or clinic setting. Candidates with hospital experience may also be considered if their background includes substantial outpatient GI clinic work.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and manage patients with gastrointestinal conditions

• Conduct patient consultations, examinations, and follow-up visits

• Develop treatment plans in collaboration with physicians

• Review laboratory results, imaging, and other diagnostic information

• Educate patients about their conditions and treatment plans

• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation

• Licensed Physician Assistant in New York State

• Previous gastroenterology experience required

• Outpatient or GI clinic experience required

• Spanish-language skills are a plus

• Strong clinical judgment and communication skills

• Ability to work effectively within a collaborative practice
