Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Industrial Ammonia Refrigeration Technician to join our team in Brighton, CO. This is a plant-based position offering consistent work at one industrial facility, without the need to travel between multiple customer sites.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing industrial ammonia (NH3) refrigeration systems and related equipment.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair industrial ammonia refrigeration systems.
• Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on refrigeration equipment.
• Maintain and troubleshoot compressors, pumps, valves, piping, and related components.
• Identify mechanical and refrigeration system issues and complete necessary repairs.
• Monitor system performance to support safe, reliable, and efficient plant operations.
• Follow established safety procedures and refrigeration system protocols.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair activities.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with industrial ammonia (NH3) refrigeration systems.
• Strong mechanical and refrigeration troubleshooting skills.
• Experience maintaining and repairing industrial refrigeration equipment and components.
• Ability to diagnose problems and perform repairs independently.
• Strong commitment to workplace safety and established procedures.
• Ability to work effectively in an industrial plant environment.
