We are seeking a highly experienced QA Architect with strong expertise in Playwright and modern test automation frameworks. The ideal candidate should have extensive experience in designing scalable automation frameworks, defining QA strategies, mentoring teams, and driving enterprise-wide quality initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement scalable automation frameworks using Playwright.
- Define and drive enterprise QA automation strategies and best practices.
- Architect end-to-end test automation solutions for web applications.
- Lead automation initiatives across multiple projects and teams.
- Review framework design, coding standards, and automation implementation.
- Collaborate with Development, DevOps, and Product teams throughout the SDLC.
- Integrate automation frameworks with CI/CD pipelines.
- Mentor QA engineers and establish quality engineering standards.
- Analyze automation coverage, execution results, and quality metrics.
- Drive continuous improvement in automation efficiency and testing processes.
- 10+ years of hands-on Automation Testing experience, with strong expertise in Playwright.
- 15+ years of overall Software Testing experience.
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience as a QA/Test Architect.
- Strong experience designing automation frameworks from scratch.
- Expertise in Playwright with JavaScript/TypeScript.
- Experience with Selenium is an added advantage.
- Strong understanding of Test Architecture, Design Patterns, and Framework Design.
- Experience integrating automation with Jenkins/GitHub Actions/Azure DevOps or similar CI/CD tools.
- Experience with API Automation and version control tools like Git.
- Excellent leadership, stakeholder management, and mentoring skills.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure).
- Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes.
- Experience in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
