Job Description:

We are currently looking for:

Structures Test Leader

Location: Filton, Bristol 

Contract: Full time, permanent, 37.5 hours per week

Duties:

• Your main tasks and responsibilities will include leading highly critical structural tests and other business critical projects, including but not limited to;

-Test Definition

- Support to performance of structural tests

- Ensuring calibration of equipment

- Acquisition of physical data

- Test Reporting

• Regular reporting and stakeholder management of test customers, including arranging/chairing meetings
• Financial governance of test budget and allocation of test resource
• Securing adherence to the Structures Test Quality Process DE.PA.04.02 and respect of all suitable transnational processes, methods and tools
• Securing adherence to all HS&E policies
• Launch subcontracting activities following policy, managing purchasing and goods receipt
• Anticipate, identify and manage risks & opportunities

Our requirements:

• Educated to degree level (or equivalent) in mechanical engineering or a related discipline (e.g. Aerospace, Structures, Materials, Physics).
• +5 years of experience in:

- Project management & delivery projects to time, cost, quality.

- Aeronautical structures.

• Experience in structures or materials testing would be an advantage.
• Experience in managing suppliers or participating in supplier selection would be an advantage
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken 
• Independent and structured way of working
• Ability to work in a team, resilience, flexibility

Salary: £50,000 - £55,000 dependant on experience
