We are seeking an experiencedTest Manager with a strong background inBanking and Payments Testing to lead end-to-end quality assurance initiatives for complex payment processing and financial technology platforms. The ideal candidate will have expertise in test strategy, test management, payment transaction lifecycles, API testing, automation frameworks, and Agile delivery methodologies.

This role requires a hands-on leader who can drive quality across the software development lifecycle, identify risks early, manage distributed QA teams, and ensure successful release readiness for mission-critical banking and payment systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Own the overall test strategy, test planning, estimation, scope, execution, and quality sign-off for banking and payments programs.
• Review business requirements, features, and user stories to identify edge cases, negative scenarios, requirement gaps, and testing risks.
• Define and strengthen acceptance criteria, Definition of Ready (DoR), and Definition of Done (DoD).
• Partner with Product Owners, Business Analysts, Developers, and QA teams to create BDD scenarios, test cases, and comprehensive test coverage.
• Lead functional, integration, system, regression, API, end-to-end, and UAT testing activities.
• Translate business requirements into traceable test scenarios covering:
  • Payment Authorization
  • Card Transactions
  • Clearing & Settlement
  • Reconciliation
  • Refunds
  • Chargebacks
  • Disputes
  • Exception Handling
  • Failure and Retry Processing
• Manage test environments, test data, dependencies, defects, and triage activities.
• Coordinate testing across upstream and downstream banking systems.
• Drive defect management, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Lead release readiness reviews and provide quality recommendations for production deployments.
• Ensure compliance with banking controls, payment security requirements, and audit standards.
• Track and report test execution metrics, defect trends, risks, and mitigation plans.
