Job Description

Position is 1st shift-5:30am-4pm (4/10s) Monday-Thursday!

In this Test Technician position you will perform the following tasks:

Sets up test apparatus and conducts tests of production assemblies and units following methods, procedures, standards, and sequences.

Lays out and assembles units for production equipment according to designs and specifications.
Adjusts and calibrates systems as needed. Modifies equipment by adding, removing, or altering components as defined by predetermined diagrams and sketches.
Corrects malfunctions by making adjustments or replacing parts or components as directed.
Uses hand and small power tools, and various measuring and testing devices in performing job duties. May monitor and verify quality in accordance with statistical process or other control procedures.
Set up, calibrate, and operate complex Automated Test Equipment (ATE) and manual test setups using Spectrum Analyzers, Network Analyzers, Signal Generators, and Oscilloscopes.
Execute and interface with automated test software scripts built on LabVIEW, TestStand, or Python, identifying and documenting code bugs or test sequence anomalies.
Author and process Material Review Board (MRB) documentation, non-conformance reports (NCRs), and Corrective Action Requests (CARs).
Monitor First Pass Yield (FPY) data, identify recurring defect trends, and partner with Quality and Manufacturing Engineering to implement corrective actions.

Required Skills and Education

High School Diploma OR GED
1+ years Hands-on experience in electronics testing
Focused experience with RF production testing and calibration, operating RF equipment (Oscilloscopes, Spectrum Analyzers, Power meters, VNA's, etc...)
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Ability to obtain a Secret Clearance

Preferred Skills and Education

Active Secret Clearance or higher
Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma tools, and 7S principles.
Ability to read and interpret complex RF schematics, block diagrams, and wire harness drawings.
