Senior JavaScript Automation Test Engineer with AI & Agentic Testing

We're looking for aSenior JavaScript Automation Test Engineer to join our team, taking on a key role in guaranteeing software system reliability and accuracy, overseeing a testing team, managing automated testing workflows, and helping advance our test automation framework.

The successful candidate will design scalable automation solutions, champion quality engineering practices, mentor team members, and apply Generative AI and Agentic AI technologies to speed up software testing and delivery.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of testers, providing guidance and support for testing activities
• Work with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze system requirements
• Create comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test strategies
• Coordinate and prioritize testing activities to ensure thorough and efficient coverage
• Design, build, and run automation scripts using advanced automation tools
• Identify, report, and track defects through to validation and resolution
• Establish and enforce quality standards to maintain best practices
• Design and implement API automation solutions for REST and SOAP services
• Validate XML and JSON payloads using serialization and deserialization techniques
• Integrate automation suites with CI/CD pipelines via Jenkins and GitHub Actions
• Define test strategies, automation roadmaps, and quality metrics
• Design and implement AI-driven solutions for automated test case generation, test script generation, code reviews, and API-driven automation workflows

Requirements

• 5-8 years of experience in software test automation and quality engineering
• Proficient in API test automation for REST and SOAP services, including authentication methods like Basic Authentication, Bearer Tokens, OAuth, and NTLM
• Skilled in software design patterns such as Singleton, Factory, Decorator, Page Object Model (POM), and Page Factory
• Experienced in CI/CD and DevOps integration using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, and static code analysis tools
• Knowledgeable in test strategy principles like Test Pyramid, Definition of Ready (DoR), and Definition of Done (DoD)
• Familiar with Confirmation Testing, Regression Testing, and Change Impact Testing
• Hands-on experience with Large Language Models including GitHub Copilot, Claude, and Cursor
• Solid understanding of Prompt Engineering, Context Window Management, Tokenization, and Model Selection Strategies
• Background in embeddings and vector databases for semantic search, similarity search, and retrieval mechanisms
• Capable of designing AI-driven solutions using tools like Claude, GitHub Copilot, Cursor, and OpenAI Assistants
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field

Nice to have

• Experience building multi-agent workflows for end-to-end testing, automated reporting, and failure recovery/fallback handling
• Familiarity with RAG architectures and integrating LLMs with enterprise knowledge sources
• Understanding of Model Context Protocol concepts and frameworks for orchestrating agent interactions and monitoring workflows
• Knowledge of Attention Mechanisms and Transformer-based model architectures
