Job Description: Functional Test Engineer (SAP & Non-SAP)
Experience Required: 4 to 6 Years' experience in SAP & Non-SAP functional testing
Must Have Skills:
- 6 years of overall experience in functional testing across SAP and Non-SAP applications.
- End-to-end testing of business processes, ensuring complete coverage across modules and systems.
- Hands-on experience in Pricing & Contracts (P&C) processes using SAP and/or Vendavo.
- Experience in end-to-end business process validation across SAP and integrated applications.
- Exposure to SAP ECC and/or SAP S/4HANA environments
- Understand Pricing & Contracts business processes and validate end-to-end system functionality.
- Analyze business requirements, functional specifications, and process flows.
- Design, create, review, and execute functional test cases and test scenarios.
- Assess existing test assets and identify gaps requiring additional test coverage.
- Perform Functional Testing, System Integration Testing (SIT), Regression Testing, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) support.
- Validate pricing calculations, contract creation, contract adjustments, approvals, rebates, discounts, and pricing conditions.
- Execute end-to-end testing across SAP and integrated applications such as Vendavo.
- Create and maintain test data required for testing various P&C scenarios.
- Log, track, and retest defects through closure.
- Collaborate with Business Analysts, Functional Consultants, Developers, and Business SMEs.
- Prepare business process documentation, knowledge capture documents, and test evidence.
- Provide regular status updates, defect metrics, and testing progress reports
Preferred Qualifications:
- Strong understanding of Pricing & Contracts processes.
- Experience in SAP SD pricing concepts, condition records, contracts, and master data validation.
- Working knowledge of SAP ECC or SAP S/4HANA.
- Experience designing end-to-end business process test scenarios.
- Strong defect management and root-cause analysis skills.
- Knowledge of test management tools such as qTest, JIRA, or ALM.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Exposure to Vendavo Pricing or similar pricing platforms.
- Experience with Tricentis Tosca automation.
- Knowledge of SAP interfaces, APIs, IDocs, and integration testing.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum delivery models.
- Familiarity with CI/CD and automated regression testing.
