With our commitment to increase penetration in an underserved hearing care market, we want to accelerate our business transformation in order to reach more people, more effectively.

We are looking for a Test Engineer to join our Operations team as part of Dynamic Process Engineering, reporting to the Head of DPE (APAC) and acting as the Product Engineering Representative. In this role, you will own manufacturing test processes and equipment qualification, with decisions that have a long-term impact (5+ years) on our strategic plans and goals. You will work with both internal and external stakeholders across a local/global scope, with light travel requirements (1–10 days)

What you will do

  • Perform Installation Qualification (IQ), Operational Qualification (OQ) and Performance Qualification (PQ) of test equipment, ensuring it remains compliant with quality and regulatory requirements, and collaborating with vendors on equipment upgrades and troubleshooting

  • Develop and implement manufacturing test processes for hearing aids, wireless accessories, chargers and related products, defining test strategies covering functional, acoustic, RF, electrical, firmware and final product verification

  • Design and validate test fixtures, test stations and automated test systems, create test plans, work instructions and SOPs, and continue test optimization from NPI transfer through to end-of-life (EOL)

  • Support product design reviews from a manufacturing test perspective, conduct Design for Testability (DFT) assessments, and provide engineering support during product launch and ramp-up

  • Perform statistical analysis of process and test performance, generate KPI reports on yield, defect rates, cycle time and equipment performance, and present findings and recommendations to management and cross-functional teams using tools such as Minitab, JMP, SQL or Power BI

  • Ensure compliance with ISO 13485, FDA Quality System Regulation (QSR), GMP and company quality standards, participate in internal and external audits, and support validation documentation, change control activities and traceability of manufacturing test records.

What you bring

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in Test Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Process Engineering or Product Engineering within an electronics manufacturing environment, with a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering or a related engineering field

  • Experience in medical devices, hearing aids, wearable electronics, consumer electronics or electro-acoustic products is highly preferred

  • Hands-on experience with functional testing, acoustic testing, electrical testing, RF testing and end-of-line testing

  • Experience troubleshooting production test failures and driving root cause analysis (RCA) and corrective actions, and working with MES (Manufacturing Execution Systems) and production databases

  • Knowledge of ISO 13485, GMP, FDA regulations or other regulated manufacturing environments, with demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage engineering projects

  • Good documentation practices (GDP), detail-oriented and results-focused, with the ability to manage stakeholders such as process owners and contractors, and to manage multiple tasks in a dynamic team environment.
